The concept is great, but the time is a bit too short and the controls are too complex. It's understandable if you want the combos to be relatively unguessable, but having to make FIVE INPUTS in half a second for a super jump, then having to perform a walljump immediately (3 inputs), is insane. My hand hurts now. Overall, great idea, but too complex to do in 20 seconds.

I enjoyed this game. The combos are creative and the time limit is pretty cool. Good job!

This was great! I managed to beat the game, howerver I didn't have to go through the abyss... I got to some ritual place through the abyss once, but didn't get why it happened that time but not others.

The abyss is secret area that was ment to be used in an alternative endig which I didn’t have time to make. Its supposed to be inaccessible here in this version, but turns out I forgot about it or something. Thanks for playing :)

I thought it could be something like this! But man the game really is great, I'm amazed at how much stuff you managed to put into it. The motion inputs are also pretty cool! They make doing the superjump feel a lot more tactile.

Very fun, I liked this a lot! Reminded me of minit a little bit due to the art style and time mechanics.

I found this from you pico8 page, why don't you have this posted there? Just posting it later? A lot more people could enjoy it that way :)

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I usually like the to polish the game up a bit more before releasing it on pico-8, but this time i kinda just forgot. Thanks for the reminder 😅

the design is so cool yet very simple, loved it so much!!

way too hard overall but the wall jump is something else ...

this game is a lot of fun. Very very unique and even if it was hard, it was very rewarding

the progression is really cool. It’s the rare kind where knowledge is holding you back; not upgrades, and this is the kind of design philosophy I really enjoy

Now I can't do the high jump :(

Finally made it.

yep, even ifI know the buttons for a move like tackle or walljump, executing it is really hard :-)

the game look so cool, smooth and well polished, but for me it's really hard to do the specials moves, remember me the wall jump in super metroid...

Spoiler: I don't get wich are to rules to being able or unable to make a tackle. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Any advice?

If you find it hard to execute the tackle, then try to press and release one button at a time, as you don’t need to hold any buttons to execute it :)

That doesn't seem to be the case, I tried staying in place and pressing x repeatedly and fast, then slowly, then holding it or in staccato, non worked.

Edit: I think I found the pattern.

Edit 2: I didn't know you could open the house basement, I found the tackle by accident on the surface and tried using it in the cave to the right. Thanks for answering.
